Developing a Successful Job Shadowing Programme

Within the framework of European Project «NEELI – Non-formal education and e-learning for inclusion», implemented 15 days educational program in order two youth workers from Italy to get acquainted with the best practices and tools used in intercultural education.

Specifically, two volunteers, ms. Viola Ottino and ms. Mariema Corso, traveled and stayed in Larissa, Greece from 29 of January to 13 of February 2017.

The two volunteers participated in various activities focused on immigrants. Specifically, they made study visits to Municipality of Larissa, to Active Citizens and other organizations/bodies. Also, the volunteers visited the Hot Spot of Koutsohero where are hosted immigrants/refugees.

During the training activities, they created an e-learning material which can be used both by immigrants and teachers. The e-learning material provides useful information and tools for social inclusion, useful information about how the immigrants can move and use the network (for example human rights etc.).

Τhe e-learning material will be available soon and you can find it here: www.athena.entre.gr
