New Model for the Development of the Social Economy and Entrepreneurship among Women Refugees and Immigrants

The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development under the framework of the European project “ICRSI – International Cooperation for rehabilitation and social integration of women refugees in Turkey and in Europe!” presented a new model for the development of social economy and entrepreneurship within refugees and migrant women in the international meeting of the representatives bodies of seven (7) different countries, that was held in the city of Gaziantep in Southeast Turkey.

During the meeting, the partners discussed ways to address the problems of survival and integration of refugees and especially women in local communities and the role the local government and civil society have to play in this process.

For this reason, informative courses and exchange of good practices will be held in Poland, Latvia, Albania, Czech Republic, Romania and of course Greece. The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Development will support four people that are willing to travel in these countries in order to participate in the training and knowledge transfer in our country.
