The project entailed the implementation of a workshop focused on the development of women’s entrepreneurship and the support of the socio-economic integration of women with less opportunities.
It provided the opportunity to women from Romania, Poland, Turkey, Italy, Finland, Lithuania and Greece to participate in an activity focused on learning, interaction and networking. The delivery of the training was done through the methodologies of non formal learning and the training itself consisted of work groups, case studies, success stories, study visits, brainstorming and use of audiovisual auxiliary materials. The workshop provided also the opportunity for the presentation of data with respect to women’s entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, presentation of women’s success stories, presentation of personal case studies of the participants and a visit to a local women’s social enterprise.
The workshop took place in Larissa, Greece, from the 16th until the 21st May 2011.
