Emotional Intelligence Skills Development to Foster Youth Employability

youth

Emotional Intelligence includes a wide spectrum of skills that youth of all ages can develop and improve. These skills are critical for emotional wellness and successful life and involve Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Skills, Adaptability, Stress Management and General Mood. These skills are divided in sub-skills that address issues such as Problem Solving, Happiness, Flexibility and other significant emotional and social competencies.

The project is based on the true needs of young people lacking emotional intelligence in the business world. There is a genuine and documented need for specific education to develop emotional intelligence in youth.

The educational material will be developed in training modules; the first module will focus primarily on the soft skills needed in the business world and on young people without enough information about emotional intelligence.
