Grow Green

agriculture e-learning education

The basic idea of the project is the implementation of an Agro E- guidance, which will constitute the result of the contribution of the participating organizations. The Agro web platform will be consisted of the theoretical and the practical part:

The theoretical part will include theoretical knowledge in the field of agriculture, which in some parts of the platform will be correlated with the three local environments (Cypriot, Greek, Spanish), thus providing up-to-date information about the current situation of each local environment, the existing relevant programs (public or private initiatives) that will be running and which are related with the topic as well as some good practices deriving from these local spaces and other European ones, concerning the agricultural sector.

The practical part of the Agro web platform will be basically composed of two parts. The first part will be the ‘Educational Video Presentations from Agricultural Experts (such as agronomists and farmers)’ (O2), which will thoroughly be explained at the subsequent phase of this application). The second practical part will consist of practically-oriented ‘Smart Steps’ (developed in O2), with concrete instructions on how to make an educational video presentation (given by some experts of the field) that can be used to educate young people on agriculture.
