Social Entrepreneurship for Youth in Europe

entrepreneurship employment youth

Nowadays, more and more young people find themselves looking for a job with no success. Unemployment is particularly seen in youth belonging in disadvantaged or minority groups, since they usually also lack access to proper education and tools required in the job hunt.

YSE project aims to provide these individuals, that is, unemployed youth, between 18 to 30 years old, from ethnic minorities and/or disadvantaged backgrounds, with low educational level, with skills on social entrepreneurship as a means to face unemployment. More specifically, YSE deals with innovative business models in order to improve the existing methodologies of the organizations involved but also to facilitate youth’s inclusion in the labor market, by focusing exclusively on social entrepreneurship and social enterprises. To this end, the project intends to promote the exchange of good practices and communicate innovative solutions in the field, but also to mobilize young people in working at a local, regional and European level.
