Programme: H2020

Deadline for call: 24 Apr 2019

Category: ICT, Sharing economy
Target Group: Elders

General Description

Non-for-Profit Sharing Economy (NFPSE) and their related ICT Platforms is a powerful tool which can connect Elder People with their communities, making them to be more active and integrated.

However, the potential of NFPSE for Active Ageing is not currently exploited due to;

  • Lack of awareness of Elder People’s and their Communities about the capacity and potential of these persons for participating in the Community and deliver added value.
  • Elder People don´t know such collaborative models and supporting ICT Platforms
  • Communities don´t know how to engage Elder People in such collaborative models
  • Elder People’s lack of Digital Skills about how to exploit ICT Platforms supporting NFPSE

The proposed WP will supply high quality adapted learning materials tailored to the needs of individual low-skilled or low-qualified Elder Persons so they acquire digital skills related to the exploitation of ICT NFPSE Platforms. It promotes, through an innovative integrated approach, the inclusion of Elder Persons based on the exploitation of the potential of Non-for-Profit Sharing Economy.
