Startup entrepreneurship is in the spotlight! Startup Europe Week Larissa 2024 is coming back in force for the ninth consecutive year on Thursday, 14 March, at JOIST Innovation Park in Larissa, from 18:00 to 20:30.
A business idea can be effectively developed anywhere if the initiator understands the specificities and advantages of his/her location. With the central theme “This is Your Place to Grow“, Startup Europe Week Larissa 2024 aims to inspire and guide young entrepreneurs and startuppers in their first steps and introduce them to resources, services and support programs they can leverage to grow.
This year’s open event includes a panel discussion with guest speakers from the startup ecosystem, representatives of businesses, organizations and public bodies who will share valuable advice and discuss ways to enhance and support mechanisms to support startup entrepreneurship in Larissa and wider Thessaly, as well as interaction with the public through a Q&A session and a live quiz with prizes.
Startup Europe Week Larissa 2024 is organised by Institute for Entrepreneurship Development, the Association of Thessalian Businesses and Industries – STHEV, JOIST Innovation Park, the Association of Industries of Thessaly and Central Greece (AITCG), PRAXI Network and the Region of Thessaly.

The History of Startup Europe Week
Also known as European Startup Entrepreneurship Week, Startup Europe Week is an event for startup entrepreneurship that has been held since 2015 in more than 350 cities in parallel in Europe. Startup Europe Week Larissa is part of this big European event. It welcomes every year from the beginning of the initiative founders and members of startup companies, organizations with multi-year business activities, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship enthusiasts from Larissa and the whole of Thessaly.
