Since the global financial crisis, high youth-unemployment rates have been a problem across the Europe and the world. The trend of development of youth work as a tool to combat unemployment among young people, will enhance both on European and national level. As majority of young people need jobs, youth work providers should provide space for real and meaningful support for young people.
The project “Social Entrepreneurship in Youth Work – Developing employability and innovations amongst the youth people” is aimed at develop strategic tools and motivate youth organizations to provide youth entrepreneurship support. Within this framework, one training material will be produced, a toolkit as a support tool for youth workers to introduce (Social) Entrepreneurship/Education/Programmes related to Entrepreneurship in their youth organization and youth center.
During the 1st transnational meeting that took place in Gozo of Malta, 16 January 2017, project’s partners from Malta, Greece and Belgium analyzed the current situation and designed the next steps towards the implementation of the project’s activities.
