In Europe, it has been observed that there are cultural factors which discourage young people from starting a business. Therefore, there is a need to develop a strong entrepreneurial culture among EU citizens.
Under this topic, the 3rd transnational meeting was held in the city of Lisbon in Portugal on the 9th and 10th of October, within the framework of the European Project titled «Society Profits». Project partners, Citizens in Power (Cyprus), Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (Greece) and Madan Parque (Portugal), finalized the training course titled “on-line training course on Social Entrepreneurship”, which will be available online in the upcoming platform of the project. The course will also be available in English, Greek and Portuguese languages. The training course ranges from the basics of social entrepreneurship to the ways of funding and the steps for funding a social business.
The next step of the project is to develop an e-platform on social entrepreneurship. Also, the next transnational meeting will take place in Cyprus.
