iED announces the finalization of the FIT modular e-course, the second intellectual output developed within the framework of the European project “FIT: Financial literacy and new business models to boost women entrepreneurship possibilities”.
Encouraging women to launch entrepreneurial activities has many extensions beyond their personal spheres. In particular, women entrepreneurship can be a significant solution to the existing societal problems and contribute to its development and prosperity.
The Content of FIT Modular E-Course
FIT is an Erasmus+ project aiming to empower women and enable them to build ventures on solid business grounds. Specifically, the partnership employs circular economy in the goal of developing a business improvement program.

In this context, the consortium developed the FIT modular e-course with its main focus on covering demands that are pertinent to finance; circular economy practices; and leadership (skills).
The e-course contents consist of the following modules:
- Finance, including tools and information, ranging from accounting basics to financial situation management.
- Circular economy and new business models information.
- 21st-century skills for smart entrepreneurs.
- The reinforcing process of new businesses creation.
- Competition and globalization, to keep fostering innovation and agility.
- Examination of successful business strategies.
The modular e-course is available in the languages of the participating countries.
Furthermore, the e-course underwent through assessment and improvements by trainers and 6 external experts. Specifically, the content pilots were tested to assess the suitability, in local women that aspired to become entrepreneurs from the partner countries.
