The Lost Millennials Project

The Lost Millennials Project

Institute of Entrepreneurship Development is pleased to present the new 27-months long project “Lost Millennials: Transnational research network for the evaluation of initiatives targeting 25+ NEETs”, which is funded by the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. A consortium of 13 partners from across Europe, implements this new project.

The objective of Lost Millennial project is to contribute to the successful integration of young people not engaged in education, employment, or training, aged 25 years and above in the labour markets, as well as education and training.

Specifically, the consortium focuses on young people aged from 25 to 29 years and on the influence of education, employment initiatives and the capacity of stakeholders on producing impactful results.

Throughout the project implementation, the partnership will create a transnational network of researchers and experts to assess pertinent initiatives; organize capacity-building events; and raise stakeholders’ engagement.

Updates on the Lost Millennials Project

In December 2021, the Lost Millennials partnership began its evaluation; in particular, the age group’s unstable circumstances of labor market integration, in the EU, the beneficiary countries and beyond. The assessment results of the kick-off meeting will be published in the summer of 2022, in a transnational research report.

Moreover, on March 23rd the first online event of the project’s event series occurred, where youth employment experts participated. In particular, the focus of the panel discussion was NEETs, along with market measures and good practices’ impact; and methodological challenges encountered.
