EU flag

The 3rd Transnational Meeting in the context of the Leonardo da Vinci Project “Certification of the qualifications of youth workers in NGOs – road to greater recognition of youth work” was held on October 5-6 2013 in Krakow, Poland with representatives of all partner organisations present and actively participating.

The meeting was held in Poland to discuss the development of the project, the actions and activities that have been implemented to date and to discuss future actions and plans the activities to follow in the coming months of the project.

Focus was placed on the Process of Certification of Informal Qualifications of Youth Workers throughout Europe, where the partners decided on the final certification process to be followed with potential candidates in each of the participating countries. It was agreed that part of the elements of the certification process should be held in English so as to encourage a European scope and to allow for potential participants in countries other than the partner countries (Belgium, Greece, Italy, Poland and Portugal).

Following discussions concerning the certification process and methodologies to be implemented, the partners also discussed the dissemination and exploitation of the project, as well as the development of the database of youth work institutions and individuals throughout Europe and how to best make this database most efficient and useful to all target groups and potential beneficiaries.

For potential candidates who are interested in receiving a certificate in Youth Work (either Senior or Junior level) please follow our website information and contact us at: info@entre.gr to receive further information on the process to follow.
