A regional workshop was materialized at the end of April in Larissa in the context of the European Leonardo Da Vinci project: “Discovering Competencies – Tools” by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development.

Representatives policy-making institutions, as well as professional education and training institutions and the general public participated in the workshop. The debate related to the opportunities of adoption of the tools that have been developed in the project and the potential weaknesses with regards to the integration and exploitation of these tools.

The materialization of another workshop is being planned in the same context in Athens, while the possibility of materializing the workshop in other cities of the prefecture is also being examined.

The main objective of the project is the improvement of vocational education and training and the development of the vocational potential of disadvantaged young people with immigrant backgrounds in the European Union. The project also aims towards the selection of the methods and the implementation of the procedures to be transferred from Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Greece to other European Countries.
