Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) announces the IO3 of a European project that promotes and empowers women in sustainability. The results of the third intellectual output occurred in the framework of the RWSFF European project, under the strategic partnership between four countries.
About RWSFF: A Project Fostering Women in Sustainability
It is an Erasmus+ project that is aiming to empower women of rural background. The project’s mediums of encouragement are the promotion of “Fresh Food Economy”; agricultural entrepreneurship; and, farm-related segments of the rural economy. The overall goal of RWSFF project, is to generate income and employment for rural women. However, the project’s plan is designed to consider methods and technologies of adjustment that are in accordance with the local circumstances, in each partner country.

Brief Presentation of RWSFF IO3
The objective of this intellectual output is a guide that includes gathered success stories, that has occurred in the project partner countries. This collection of stories will function as the material, out of which ideas and suggestions will emerge, that will contribute to rural women’s empowerment. In addition, at this stage of the project, there will be provision of pertinent information regarding:
- European agriculture policy and its history, along with CAP finance.
- Farm to fork strategy, the European strategy regarding production and consumption of fresh food and the latter’s impact on health and environment.
- Analysis of fresh food trends regarding the consumption of fresh food, in the EU premises; and, the cultural, educational, and income links in each country.
