As far as you know from the previous articles, Erasmus+ project is in line with the European Union’s strategy of the development of education.
This project motivates experience sharing, innovations and modernization of the sphere of education. KA2 stands for the Key Action 2 of the project. It is called Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices. This Key action supports a strategic partnership, knowledge alliances, sector skills alliances, capacity building, IT projects that may help teachers, professor, trainers, etc. If you have the ideas for the projects in the abovementioned fields, you have to study carefully the eligibility rules for Erasmus+.
- You have to be a representative of the country which takes part in the Program. The list of the Program Countries is published on the official site of the European Commission (http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/). Pay attention, that some of the projects are available for the participants from the Partner Countries. For more details, please, check Erasmus+ program.
- The participants can be individual applicants (students, pupils, professors, teachers, trainers, everybody who works in the sphere of education) and organizations (should consist of minimum four people, involved in the process of education). If you want to participate as an organization, it’s not a must that you are a youth organization, you have to work on youth development and education.
- You have to be a pupil / student of any grade and educational establishment or a teacher / professor, trainer or a professional in an enterprise. Any representative of a vocational education, as well as the organizations connected with it (e.g. training centers), are also welcome to participate in the project. Various cultural organizations, libraries, bodies which validate the skills and level of knowledge, organizations that provide career development, guidance and support, etc. may also take part in this program.
- Erasmus+ Grant Agreements will be signed only with the participating organizations, but not with individuals.
- You may need to obtain a visa to go to the Program Country with which you are going to collaborate. The participant has to take care of all the necessary preparations and actions in order to obtain this visa.
- If you want to create a strategic partnership, there should be the representatives of minimum three Program Countries. There is an exception in the youth field and best practice exchange in the sphere of school education and regional cooperation where 2 representatives of different countries are accepted.
