The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development participated in the event “Day of Entrepreneurship” on May 27, 2008, that was organized by the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala, Greece and the Counseling Center for Entrepreneurship of the University. A number of guest speakers participated, including a representative of the Institute, Mr. Stefanidis, from the General Secretariat of the Federation of Greek Associations of Entrepreneurs, Mr. Sabrovalakis, from Businesswoman.gr, Mrs. Mavromati, from the Enterprise Europe Network and Mrs. Hatziapostolidou, from the Center of Entrepreneurial and Technological Development of Kabala.

The audience included college students of the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala, as well as graduates and was open to the wider public of Kavala and anyone interested in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial activities. All speakers presented with the prospects of business activity in Greece and the opportunities available to young entrepreneurs, including, funding opportunities and institutions that provide assistance. Finally, an open conversation followed between the audience and the guest speakers.
