European project “STARTAPP-Sustainable strategies for recruiting young people interested in in-company training” was presented to employers from the wider region of Larissa during an event organized by the Center for Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Thessaly, under the Larissa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event took place at the premises of the Chamber on Friday the 27th February 2015 and focused on the need for the provision of consultancy services to local enterprises regarding “Personnel selection and training”.
The following speeches were delivered during the event:
- Introduction and foreword: Mr. Georgios Koutsaftoulis, member of the Center for Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Thessaly.
- “Personnel selection, Dimitrios Papalexis, Economist, ΜΒΑ, Business Consultant, Secretary General of the Chamber.
- “Project STARTAPP-Sustainable strategies for recruiting young people interested in in-company training”, Mr. Panagiotis Koutoudis, Economist, Institute of Entrepreneurship Development.
- “Personnel training: Modern methods and techniques”, Ms Ageliki Tsameti, Economist.
During the event, the employers were introduced among others to project STARTAPP, alongside the sustainable strategies for recruiting young people interested in in-company training. The presentation analyzed the benefits of in-company training and the positive outcomes an enterprise may achieve by adopting it.
