Technological development has led to new opportunities for business improvement. Internet of Things, Internet of Energy, cyber-physical systems, big data, and machine learning are new techniques used in the Industry 4.0 that enable companies to better management of resources and flexibility to respond to the business conditions.

“This presentation addresses the issue of the energetic communities and they can correlate with the Distribution Systems Operator. Energetic community is an emerging concept which can range from a block of households in a street all the way to an entire district. Their activities can be sorted into local generation and storage, demand response schemes, collective purchasing as well as energy exchange and trading. Demand-side flexibility is an important asset that energetic communities can use to offer ancillary services to the grid.

This paper analyses the building and energetic community aggregated flexibility in order to provide flexibility services to the grid, proposing a methodology to compute the value of this flexibility“.

Also, during the webinar, you can make your questions through the chat system deployed on the platform or during the registration. At the end of the session, our guest will answer the questions posed using this system.
