The E-mprover project, funded by the European Commission and implemented by an experienced consortium, aims to contribute to the social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through the development of competencies in web entrepreneurship.
This project addresses the horizontal priority “Social inclusion” and the sectoral priorities “Promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship among young people,” “Promoting quality, innovation, and recognition of youth work.” The partnership will develop and deliver a training program that will guide young people in initiating and managing an online business.
The training program includes important aspects and focuses on
- How to manage an online business.
- How to plan an online business.
- Using of ICT for online promoting and selling.
This training program will provide the necessary knowledge and tools for every young entrepreneur to enter the business world. The theory will explain each section along with practical courses for better understanding focusing on the most important aspects of starting an online business. The partnership will continue achieving the project’s objectives by developing a European network of organizations that are using and promoting E-MPROVER to encourage young people to start an online business.
With the rise of the number of entrepreneurs turning to online retail due to the low-cost potential and when unemployment is high and the economy is weaker, enforcing people with fewer opportunities and teaching them skills to start their own successful business has become a mandatory sector to focus on. E-mprover project identified these needs and provided the required knowledge and tools to start an online business that could be a viable solution to the lack of attractive jobs, especially for deprived young people.
