The employers tend to pay more only to those employees who prove to be really professional and important for the development of their business.   4. Be creative. Prove your manager that you can think out of the box and that you have plenty of ideas how to improve the performance or business processes in order to make the company more efficient. The company will do everything possible to keep the generator of good ideas in its staff.
  5. Share corporate values, vision and mission. If you work for a big international company, you should know its vision, mission and values by heart. Moreover, they should get under your skin and you have to become a true ambassador of the company. Your behavior and decisions should be fully in line with the company’s strategy and values. The person whose behavior contradicts them will not stay in the company for a long time.
