iED supports the NASA Space Apps Challenge

The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development in line with its vision and goals, supported the organization of NASA Space Apps Challenge 2016. The event was held for first time at the city of Larissa, at 23rd  and 24th of April 2016 by the Biomimicry Greece – Research and Innovation. During the event, the participants had the chance to be inspired by presentations and speeches about the space, the innovation technology and many other interesting areas. After this, the hackathon of creating new ideas at some basic NASA Space Challenges begun.

The two ideas which won the prizes and will be judged by the central authority of NASA was the Space Gravity Suit and the application IKARUS NOT. The iED as organizing partner will continue to support the participants to develop more thoroughly their idea.
