Materialization of Grundtvig Workshops in Larissa, Greece
The Grundtvig Workshops titled “Women crossing the borders of entrepreneurship & developing their skills” are being materialised in Larissa from May 16-21, 2011 with participants coming from across Europe to meet together and exchange in active dialogue regarding the social entrepreneurship of women. The project is being materialised by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development in the context of the Grundtvig Workshops programme under the Lifelong Learning umbrella and is co-funded by the European Union.
The Objectives of the suggested project are the following:
- Support of women’s entrepreneurship
- Enhancing of skills and competences of the participants in terms of the management of small and medium sized social enterprises
- Strengthening of the social and professional place of women
- Creation of prospects for development and sustainable busines
- Creation of cross-border business links
- Development of social enterprises
The aim of the workshops is to bring together women who want to improve their skills and competences in the field of Entrepreneurship, share their experiences with other women from other EU countries, while also building their networks.
The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development is welcoming women from seven EU countries (Greece, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Poland, Finland and Turkey) in a week-long series of workshops in Larissa, Greece and aims towards constrictive dialogues and interactions between all participants.
