The first Workshop for the Leonardo da Vinci project: «Discovering Competencies – Tools for your future» was materialized in Athens on March 20-21, 2011.
The Workshop was organized by the Institute of Entrepreneurship and the Aegean University, while representatives of all partner organizations were present.
Representatives from the following organisations participated in the workshop: Association for Innovation Research and Consultancy from Germany (Lead Partner) Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, Aegean University, Danish School of education and Folkuniversitetet from Sweden.
The main objective of the project is the improvement of vocational education and training and the development of the vocational potential of disadvantaged young people with immigrant backgrounds in the European Union. The project also aims towards the selection of the methods and the implementation of the procedures to be transferred from Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Greece to other European Countries.
During the Workshop, the partners introduced the project toolbox and the training plan. In addition, the dissemination plan was evaluated and the partners set out and planned the meetings to follow. Representatives of National Accreditation Centre for Vocational Training Structures and of the Manpower Employment Organization were present at the workshop. actively participating and indicating an interest in adopting the project toolbox.
The toolbox constituted the methods of evaluation of personal competences and their tools.
