EllE 2nd Transnational Project Meeting

EllE 2nd Transnational Project Meeting

On January 13th, 2021, the EllE 2nd transnational project meeting took place between partners. During the meeting, the consortium discussed the project’s ongoing progress and the steps from now on.

Initially, this meeting was planned to take place in Portugal. However, due to health and safety concerns, partners met online with all five project partners’ participation. The consortium consists of Gramigna OdV from Italy, GEYC – Group of the European Youth for Change from Romania, EDUFONS – Centar za celozivotno obrazovanje from Serbia, Associacao Check-In – Cooperacao e Desenvolvimento from Portugal, and Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) from Greece.

EllE 2nd Transnational Project Meeting Discussions

The partners’ discussions started with a project review will the latest updates presented by Gramigna OdV. This presentation led to further discussions and the creation of a detailed plan for the project’s future.

First, the partners agreed upon the need to enlarge their network.

Secondly, they decided that they must engage more youth in the project’s activities in the future. For this to happen, Check-In and GEYC agreed to take a leading role by devising a social media plan targeted to youth and promoting youth engagement policy.

Thirdly, to promote the project and its objectives, partners determined to publish press releases or ask local media to create videos about the project.

Finally, the discussions revolved around event organizing. A future meeting will determine whether the partnership will:

1) Organize many national events
2) Host a large international event with a high-profile keynote speaker
3) Organize many local events connected with a particular international theme or day

Dissemination and Policies

The broader dissemination of the project updates and the promotion of SDGs Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) will be responsible for social media posts with SDGs infographics. Then, partners will share and repost to reach a wider audience. Besides, a particular focus will be given to the different approaches that the partnership needs to employ to engage with people in rural areas.
