The digital transformation, especially in business, is changing how a business interacts with customers and employees using technology, moreover, using technology to improve internal cprocesses by making them significantly more efficient. For the above reasons, the eLead project was developed to create educational material for VET professionals involved in training processes for managers and workers in high tech/digital companies.
The development of the first deliverable has been completed. The IO1: Competence Map describes the High-tech Leader professional profile in terms of units of learning outcomes using the ECVET and EQF standards.
The consortium that consists of organisations from Italy, Greece, Belgium, Netherlands, and Spain has collaborated since the beginning of the project to develop high-quality deliverables starting with the first deliverable, Competence Map.
Methodology Used
Inside the Competence Map, you can find a definition of a High-tech Leader Profile developed through desk research in all partners countries, an analysis of the competencies required in the labour market for high-tech leaders. Data received through questionnaires and interviews in all countries of the partnership, and after comparison and extended analysis and cooperation from the partnership, the Map was created. The Competence Map has been translated into all partners languages, and you could find it on the project’s website.
Expected Outcomes of eLead Project
The high commitment of all organisations involved reached the desired result. The development continues with the second deliverable, IO2: Pedagogic Handbook, a guidebook dedicated to VET professionals, including resources to support the implementation of a training course for high-tech leaders that will be finalized soon and the development of IO3: Massive Open Online Course, an online training course for High Tech Leaders delivered as a MOOC through an interactive platform.
