The fifth and final transnational meeting took place in Madrid, Spain on September 15 and 16 2008 in the context of the Leonardo Da Vinci European programme “European Marketing Professional Certification”.  The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development participated in the meeting, along with members from the partner organizations from countries including Greece, Spain, Italy, Romania, Germany and Poland.

During the meeting active discussion took place concerning the overall project and the activities that took place throughout the two years the programme was being materialised, while emphasis was placed on the pilot application and more specifically the case study evaluations.  The results, according to general opinion, of the case study presentations were highly satisfactory, since 16 out of the 17 final participants (marketing professionals with no formal education in the field) successfully completed the procedure and will be receiving the EMC_Pro certificate.

Other significant topics that were discussed included the means of dissemination of the certification and its possible commercialization upon completion of the programme, while the business plans concerning the commercialization of the EMC_Pro in each partner country that were developed by each partner and each participating country were also looked into.  In terms of the commercialization of the certificate, all partners participated in active dialogue as to who would be interested in promoting the product in their market and the possible ways of cooperation between the institutions.
