A learning material for educational purposes is available, in the framework of EMwoSE project. This move aims at the social inclusion of women from ethnic minorities. And, its plan revolves around the term of social enterprise.
EMwoSe: Empowering Women from Ethnic Minorities through Social Enterprise
In a nutshell, EMwoSe is an Erasmus+ project that includes social access to women. In particular, women who are underprivileged, due to their ethnic background. Finally, a supplementary goal is to incorporate social entrepreneurship into this effort.

EMwoSE Learning Material: Education at the Service of Womens’ Social Inclusion
The barriers, these women face on a daily basis, became the starting point to research the corresponding solutions. Following on from mapping the obstacles, the partnership has elaborated a pertinent learning material. The aim is to bridge the social gaps; and, to a greater extent lead to women’s empowerment.
The result of this research, are seven (7) educational modules:
- 1st Module: Introduction to the concept of social.
- 2nd Module: Start your own business.
- 3rd Module: Marketing and Communication.
- 4th Module: Functionality of your business.
- 5th Module: Funding.
- 6th Module: Networking.
- 7th Module: Sustainability.
As a result, through these modules, a woman will have the opportunity to acquire pertinent information, and to initiate her own social enterprise.

There are translations of the material in six (6) languages: English, Italian, Greek, German, Turkish, and Lithuanian.
