The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, in joint cooperation with Folkuniversitetet Kristianstad Sweden (Lead partner), BEST Institut für berufsbezogene Weiterbildung und Personaltraining GmbH, Business Foundation for Education, Learnwell Oy and Careers Europe, is materializing a Leonardo Da Vinci Project in the context of the Lifelong Learning Programme titled Enjoy Language. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you about the project being materialised and the possibility you have to participate in the pilot process that will be taking place in November 2012.

The project aims to enable young people working in the tourism sector with particular “foreign language learning resistance” to establish their “enjoying language” by increasing their interest and uptake of foreign languages and increasing their participation in lifelong learning.

The project aims to make a useful addition in the field of tourism training by adapting, testing, disseminating and mainstreaming language learning materials through informal learning.

A Handbook and a methodological Toolbox, containing sections for the special requirements of entrepreneurs and employees in the tourism sector are currently being developed. The Toolbox and Handbook will promote the use of informal learning and will provide with active learning methods closely related to the tourism sector. These tools will be piloted on target groups and potential beneficiaries and you will have the opportunity to actively participate.
