The two-day final meeting of the highly anticipated ETCO: Empowering Teacher Competence to Promote Social Entrepreneurship in European Schools project kicked off on July 3, 2023, in the vibrant and innovation-focused JOIST Innovation Park. It brought together a group of diverse and committed partners who were there to shape the future of entrepreneurship education in European Schools.

The meeting started on an engaging note, with each participant registering and settling into the dynamic aura of the Innovation Park. The day unfolded with an insightful overview of the agenda, marking the first step towards a journey of collaborative efforts and strategic decision-making for the greater good of entrepreneurship education.

Accomplishing Milestones Together

After the initial formalities, the event shifted its focus to the individual contributions made by the partners during the project’s implementation. The discussion was a testament to the team’s dedication and commitment, and it was uplifting to witness the array of accomplishments that had been made.

Following this enlightening session was a crucial project management and finance update. Οur competent leader in charge of preparing the Final Report provided a comprehensive overview of the upcoming tasks and crucial deadlines. Her presentation assured us with her optimism that hard work would eventually pay off after the evaluation of the upcoming Final Report.

Innovating Strategies for Future Challenges

As we moved into the afternoon, the meeting focused on strategic planning for all remaining tasks. The partners were passionate about completing the Dissemination Report and finalizing evidence of their respective dissemination actions.

An engaging brainstorming session sparked numerous ideas for educational materials to be uploaded to the ETCO Moodle Platform with our partners highlighting the rich resources already available. Moreover, all partners agreed to share examples of good practices in social entrepreneurship in their countries, intending to inspire and foster innovative thinking.

Nurturing Collaborative Efforts and A Call to Action

Day 2 of the meeting, held on July 4, centered on the development and refinement of our collective efforts. The day started with a productive discussion about Dissemination and Communication, setting the pace for the rest of the day.

We discussed the importance of reaching project-specified KPIs, stressing the need to train the targeted number of teachers and students before the project concludes. We agreed that each partner would encourage their student body to sign the platform and actively engage with the available materials.
