The first focus group of the European project Erasmus+ “Leader-Learning and Decision Making Resources” took place at the premises of Open Mellon, Larissa, on the 12th of March 2015, with the participation of approximately 15 Professional Guidance Practitioners and Trainers.Initially, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with project Leader, which aims at stimulating a fruitful dialogue among professionals who engage in one way or another with Professional Guidance Consulting in various educational frameworks in the 6 countries that participate in the project. Simultaneously, it aims at mapping the current situation and the existing problems with respect to Professional Guidance in Europe and to provide the professionals from the field with useful knowledge and tools, so that they are in the position to provide quality consultancy services.The presentation of the project was followed by a conversation on Career Management Skills, which constitute a focal topic of project Leader and are anticipated to become extremely important in the near future, due to the rapid changes taking place in the European societies.
At the end of the meeting, the participants received certificates of attendance.
