Five years after the launch of the U-SOLVE project, an online final conference is set to mark its culmination before its completion. The project, funded by the EU through the ENI CBC Med Programme, aimed to create a model for sustainable urban development by fostering innovative entrepreneurship and addressing sustainable development challenges. It sought to boost urban business ecosystems and generate job opportunities in emerging social and environmental markets.
As part of its final conference, U-SOLVE will host a final open workshop welcoming all the stakeholders and the public to this event. It will be the crowning of the project’s journey in entrepreneurship, sustainable development and urban challenges.
This open workshop, organized by the Cyprus Institute, is part of the activities within the U-SOLVE project. The project focuses on business and SME development. The main objective of the workshop is to promote collaboration among start-uppers from all six participating countries and facilitate connections with economic actors, institutions, and the public.
The workshop will consist of parallel sessions covering various topics, such as Circular Economy, Green Energy, Urban Sustainable Transition, and Water and Food Management. Each session will feature a talk from experts in the respective fields, presentations by U-SOLVE sub-grantees, and panel discussions on the specific topics.
This event is open to anyone interested in sharing ideas on urban sustainable development, seeking inspiration, and exploring future growth opportunities in cities across the Mediterranean region. The workshop will take place on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, from 9:30 to 15:30 EET.
