Do you remember the childhood games that brought us together, kept us active, and created lasting memories? Some of us played them so intensively that they became muscle memory. Whether those memories are vivid or vague, the B2Gs project aims to revive those fun, familiar activities in schools, recognizing their powerful impact on physical, mental, and social well-being.
The project’s primary goal is to improve students’ overall well-being by reintroducing traditional childhood games and sports into school curricula. By doing so, it aims to combat major health issues like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease through inclusive and engaging physical activities. It also fosters inclusivity and promotes collaboration among students, educators, policymakers, and communities.
B2Gs activities are categorized not only to provide clear instructions and benefits but also include engaging visual aids. In addition, learning modules offer infographics on key topics such as safety practices, health check-ups, physical fitness, mental and digital well-being, hygiene, posture, and reproductive health.
Categories of Activities:
-
Sports: Includes Track and Field, Handball, Indoor Climbing, and Functional Training—designed to promote physical health, teamwork, and inclusion.
-
Games: Features traditional and modern games like Guards and Thieves, Truth or Dare, and the Marble Game—encouraging creativity, trust, and social bonding.
-
DIY Activities: Creative projects like the Memory Game, Foam Painting, and Mini Volcano promote sustainability and environmental awareness, inspiring students to become changemakers.
