IED in partnership with STHEV, organized a workshop within the program “YounGo: Encouragin Social Entrepreneurship Among European Youth” Id. 2015-3-ES02-KA205-006835  ” by the topic of social economy and entrepreneurship –  growth actions and prospects.

During the meeting, there have been presentations for actions and strategies like best practices related with Social Economy and Entrepreneurship and more specifically, about how Social Economy can be a mean of vulnerable and specific population groups, such as youngers, into employment.

In addition, existing social enterprises from the region of Thessaly got presented and also the plans of actions and strategies, within the education for youth, around the topic of Social Economy and Entrepreneurship. Representatives from Local Authorities, NGOs and STHEV, participated in the development of new business plans for social enterprises.

Finally, an attendance took place for the demonstration of certificates, as well as a meal for all the participants.
