Tackling youth unemployment is highly prioritized by EU. Aside from the effect on young people, the influence of youth entrepreneurship expands to societies into becoming inclusive.
Startup EU Academy webportal, the produced outcome that was created in the framework of the “Startup EU Academy” European project, assists young entrepreneurs on their e-commerce journey.
The Startup EU Academy Webportal
Startup EU Academy is an Erasmus+ project with the objective to contribute to sustainable entrepreneurship. The consortium focuses on boosting youth entrepreneurship, through the promotion of e-commerce at EU level.
With this intention, the Startup EU Academy partnership created a multilingual web portal. The content of the platform is available in: Turkish; English; Italian; Greek; Czech; and Slovenian.
The digital forum consists of elements, such as:
- Instant messaging and chat.
- File and video sharing.
- Project information. along with activities, news, photos etc.
- Digital e-book.
- Digital start-up section.
- Intranet connection.
- E-learning section.
The platform aims to improve innovation among youth and help them develop innovative ideas for the world market. In particular, the innovation of this output is that it represents an accessible online tool that accumulates all needed information on youth entrepreneurship; innovation; and, e-commerce. Furthermore, the information is equally useful for youth and youth workers of various backgrounds.
In essence, this platform will be hosting an online community of young entrepreneurs. Furthermore, it will offer them material on how to deal with startups, e-commerce, and innovation. This digital spot is intended to empower and support the learners, even after the project’s completion.
