The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development promotes and presents green entrepreneurship as an opportunity to increase youth employment. Within the framework of the European ERASMUS+ project “This is a Green’s World”, specialized seminars will be organized in the countries participating in the project, aimed at educating and training young people in issues and aspects of green entrepreneurship.
The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development will organize the corresponding thematic seminar in the city of Larissa.
The organization and planning of seminars along with a series of other coordinating and organizational issues were the subjects of the 3rd transnational meeting, held in the city of Limassol, Cyprus, 18-19 October 2016.
Moreover, the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development Institute presented the business plan to the participants on the business ideas qualifiers.
During the meeting, worthy interlocutors participated, as Mr. Tzirtzipis founder of Dyful Company presenting entrepreneurship in Cyprus and then the floor manager of innovative services Mr. Nikolaidis Director of Innovative Business Services talked about funding opportunities through the Erasmus+.
The next day, Mr. Tsaltas presented “green jobs” where young people can work. Then, followed by Mr. Nicholas from Europe direct Cyprus and finally Mrs. Salmonids from Kalys Solutions Ltd presented the important starting points of an enterprise (startups). Finally, a role playing game implemented between the participants on the implementation of business plans.
Finally, the project partners implemented the following actions during the meeting:
- Educational visit in Akrotiri Environmental Education and Information Centre.
- Educational visit in the experimental station of the Agricultural Research Institute at Zygi.
- Educational visit in in Farm Donkey in Domaine Georgiadis.
- Educational visit in a local beekeeper area tasting local honey products.
