Chasing scientific knowledge and a scientific career

European citizens of all ages have proven that they understand exactly how important science is. They appear to be more and more interested every single day and they support the effort of scientists by wanting to be more informed and demanding more science education. This is proving to be quite important, especially due to the fact that, nowadays, more and more citizens are actually interested in becoming a part of scientific research one way or another.

The demand for scientific knowledge grows every single day. Therefore, a possible cooperation between some formal and some non-formal as well as informal science education providers with enterprises and perhaps, civil society must be a number one priority. The enhancement of such a collaboration will most certainly ensure relevant and meaningful engagement of social actors with science.

The uptake of science studies will be increased citizen science will be enhanced and of course, science-based careers, competitiveness as well as employability will start to rise. It is important nowadays to think about the fact that, battling and employment through science can actually work. After all, unemployment is certainly one phenomenon that Europe faces that needs to be eliminated and, doing it through science can most certainly guarantee that, but the phenomenon is not going to appear very easily again in the future.

The idea of actually acquiring scientific knowledge and learning more things about science before actually choosing to follow a career to it is very alluring. However, not everyone knows exactly how they can gain access to that knowledge. Yes, of course, you can go online, do some research and learned a few things about science but, what about actual knowledge on the field that you are most interested in?

Under the Horizon 2020 framework, the European Union is aiming at creating some sort of an open schooling process in which, schools are actually going to be teaching students more about science in cooperation with actual scientists, organizations and in general, important scientific stakeholders.

Yes, the use of the Internet is most certainly going to be able to provide people with a lot more information today but, actually getting specific scientific knowledge through schooling is most certainly going to empower the love of people toward science. It is a great way to actually help children move towards the scientific career.

Being a scientist and having a good scientific career can be very endearing and very satisfying. If you believe that you are interested in following such a career or if you believe that young people nowadays need to follow such a career trying to help as much as possible. Learn everything there is to know about science and tried to support these actions any way you can. Science is after all changing Europe as we know it and the world!
