It is a fitting tribute to our commitment to recognizing entrepreneurship as crucial for sustainable development, growth, and a brighter future.
As a Center of Excellence in European Entrepreneurship and a promising Digital Innovation Hub, iED has shown exceptional resilience, adaptive and transformative qualities in meeting the new challenges innovators and entrepreneurs face today. Our accumulated expertise through a diversity of EU-funded research and innovation projects has created an all-inclusive Knowledge Hub covering the needs of the pan-European entrepreneurial ecosystem and beyond. At iED, we are proud of this journey, and we look forward to more opportunities where we’ll put into action our know-how and thrive in the future.
Celebrating iED’s Achievements and Impact on European Entrepreneurship
Since our inception in 2005, iED has seen tremendous growth and achieved significant milestones. Here are someone of our achievements and success stories that we are proud of:
One of our most significant achievements so far has undoubtedly been Health Hub, the designated European Digital Innovation Hub in Thessaly that we coordinate, which acts as a reference point of Digital Health at the regional, national and European levels, having received a Seal of Excellence by the European Commission. Tasos Vasiliadis: As the founder and CEO, he has played a critical role in establishing the organization’s vision and mission. With his leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, he has been instrumental in shaping iED’s growth and success and preparing us to meet future demands.

Our experienced teams of administration, planning and implementation, marketing, software development and IT, products and services have played a vital role in implementing our numerous National and European projects. Our Goals for the Future
1. Support Entrepreneurship and Innovation
As we celebrate our 18th anniversary, we feel pride in our accomplishments. However, we also know that much work still needs to be done. One of our primary goals is to continue supporting entrepreneurship and innovation across Europe. To do this, we plan to launch a series of new initiatives and projects focused on providing resources and support to aspiring entrepreneurs.
2. Promote the Adoption of Digital Technologies
Further, we also plan to continue our work as a Digital Innovation Hub, helping to promote the adoption of digital technologies across Europe. We believe that digital innovation is crucial to the success of European entrepreneurship. That’s why we commit to continue our work to ensure that entrepreneurs have access to the latest digital tools and resources.
3. Expand Our Network of Partners
Another one of our goals is to expand our network of partners and collaborating organizations. We believe working with other like-minded organizations can have a greater impact and reach more entrepreneurs and innovators across Europe.
4. Stay Focused on Research and Innovation
Finally, we plan to continue our focus on research and innovation. Through our involvement in EU-funded research projects, we aim to produce and transfer knowledge that will help to shape the future of entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe.
We remain committed to promoting innovation and enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit through these and other initiatives. We believe that entrepreneurship is the key to sustainable development, growth, and a better future, and we look forward to continuing to work towards this goal in the years to come.
