Youth Re-Working Rural Project total outcomes

co-working-spaces

The elimination of youth unemployment is a priority for the European Union. Through the implementation of the European Projects budget is allocated in an effort to teach young people the qualities of entrepreneurship and to help them, in a way, set up their own business.

Co-working spaces are the kind of business that is flourishing at the moment. A lot of young people all around the world are interested in investing in co-working spaces. That is either as co-workers or owners. A co-working space, even if it is an entrepreneurial venture, is very difficult to set up and even more difficult to run.

For that reason and under the Youth Re-working Rural project, some achievements have been accomplished that are able to help inform people about the qualities of a good co-working space and how they can set up their own.

Here are the six important achievements that were developed during the implementation of the Youth Re-working Rural project.

  1.  A State of the Art and Mpa of opportunities survey
  2. EQF of the co-working start-upper
  3. Training programme for co-working spaces
  4. E-book for the start-up and management of co-working spaces
  5. A virtual community for local development through co-working
  6. Best practices and open challenges booklet

These six very important outcomes have helped us understand and develop a steady pace to manage and teach the qualities of a co-working space to young people. In particular, by using the project’s outcomes one can learn all the important information regarding co-working spaces, from opening up space to maintaining it to just being a person using it.

The Youth Re-working rural project was aimed at not only educating the participants and other young people on co-working spaces but to also make sure that old spaces will be used in a productive way. There are too many spaces like old buildings and monasteries that at not being used, in rural areas.

The project also helped in teaching young people in rural areas the correct use of these abandoned spaces, in an effort to turn them to sustainable co-working spaces.
