Social Medias are an integral part of the Internet. Whether it’s information, either is viewing and networking, there are a variety of different tools and other tools that are established in everyday life, sometimes are considered irreplaceable. As important is to maximize the benefits, as necessary is to be protected against the dangers.
Within the framework of the European ERASMUS+ project titled “INFORMED AND SAFE USE SOCIAL MEDIA SKILLS TO ADULTS”, the 4th transnational meeting was held in Larissa, in 2-3-4 of October by Institute of Entrepreneurship Development. Specifically, each organization presents the developed contents of the upcoming training material, the pre-test and final-test questionnaire and the satisfaction survey.
In particularly, IED presented the educational opportunities and benefits through using social media. It was also mentioned as tool of educational opportunity, the webinars. In addition, it was referred networking and marketing opportunities for both business and personal awareness.
FUNDACJA AUTOKREACJA (Poland) presented the job opportunities, strategies for career search and finding employee.
PREVIFORM (Portugal) and Ankara Golbasi Halk Egitimi Merkezi (Turkey) presented in few lines the history of the Social Media, as also, the main definitions of the most popular social networks.
Euroform RFS (Italy) makes a reference to the most popular tools used by social media, the difference between social media and social networks.
And, Inercia Digital S.L. (Spain) pointed some security points, safety guidelines and use of social media.
The material is at the final level of developing and the next step is to be translated in partners languages (Greek, Polish, Turkish, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese). Once it will be translated, will be uploaded to the project platform and evaluated by 20 people of the target group.
