FREASCO Good Practices on Gender-Based Violence Restriction

FREASCO Good Practices on Gender-Based Violence Restriction

Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) proudly announces the FREASCO good practices as an important intellectual output. Good practices outcome was produced, as integrant part of the European project of “FREASCO – Free from sexism and sexual harassment at school”.

The FREASCO Good Practices Library

FREASCO is a REC project on the content of gender-based violence due to pertinent stereotypes. In particular, this initiative aims to take action on educational frames, through mapping relevant gaps and setting limits.

Within this framework, the project’s partnership delivered a database of existing good practices. Specifically, the collection encompasses 10 tools and 20 best practices within the European context.

The purpose of this online library is to establish and safeguard gender equality and gender mainstreaming in youth, with supporting materials and references.

For the database material selection, partners set the following criteria:

  • The definition of best practices, as set from the European Commission. Therefore, we refer to actual practices that have been assessed of being adequate, efficient and effective, as processes and results.
  • Inclusion criteria pertinent to all types of gender-based violence according to processes’ effectiveness and efficiency. With the additional elements of transferability; sustainability; participation and intersectoral collaboration included.

We are pleased to be part of this consortium, as our team considers the FREASCO good practices delivery, a promising contribution to gender-based violence restriction.
