Institute of Entrepreneurship Development participates in the implementation of the project “Entrepreneurial Development with European Dimension” within the framework of Civil Society Dialogue between EU and Turkey – IV Enterprise and Industrial Policy Grant Scheme.
The main project’s objective is the establishment of strong links and of a high level cooperation between civil society in Turkey and the EU Member States through civil dialogue in the area of enterprise and industrial policy where civil society dialogue is particularly valuable for Turkey’s successful accession to the EU.
The main priority areas of the project are to increase awareness regarding the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship and self-employment at the local level and to promote the development of skills for commercialization of cultural and local products.
Projects expected results are:
- Increasing awareness and capacity related to entrepreneurship, branding, trademarking, local products and geographical indications;
- Identifying and promoting best practices in entrepreneurship learning in EU and Turkey in order to create a more entrepreneur-friendly business and skills development environment;
- Creating sustainable cooperation between Turkish and other European countries’ respective organizations;
- Creating a network where organization from both Turkey and EU countries in the area of enterprise and industrial policy can collaborate in the future.
During the project’s kick-off meeting that will be implemented in March 2016, next steps and activities will be defined by the partnership.
