The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) in the frame of the European project “SENTIM – Social ENTrepreneurship for IΜmigrants” designs and develops an innovative e-learning platform with training material and tools of social entrepreneurship. The main target group of this platform is to support the VET trainers and professionals in this field.
After this procedure, the professionals will be able to assist immigrants and people vulnerable to social exclusion about issues of entrepreneurship and social cohesion. One goal of this project SENTIM is to explore and to take advantage of the potential of social economy considering the needs of the immigrants and by extension the needs of any other people who face labor market discrimination and social exclusion.
During the second transnational meeting which was held in Ljubljana of Slovenia at 13 and 14 of April 2016, the project partners had the opportunity to discuss the implementation of the project in each country (Spain, Italy, Slovenia, and Greece). Also, there were analyzed some parameters of the platform’s design as well as the results of the workshops with immigrants. It is worth mentioning the organization of a big workshop in Slovenia at 13/04/2016 in which took part immigrants who live now at Ljubljana and have started their own business.
