Intercultural Education: Immigration and intercultural communication

Within the framework of European Project «NEELI – Non–formal education and e–learning for inclusion», implemented 9 days educational program, in order five youth volunteers to get acquainted with tools used in intercultural education.

The five participants from Greece:

– Katerina Arvanitaki

– Maria-Afroditi Deilogkou

– Vasileia Lintzeri

– Myrto-Maria Marantou

– Evangelia Sereti

, traveled and stayed in Szeged-Hungary.

Six countries have been participated at the program (Greece, Spain, Italy, Romania, United States of America and Hungary-hosted country), and the total number of participants was 26.

During the program, discussed the current situation of immigrants/refugees in each participant-country. Especially, they emphasized mainly on the children of immigrants and on how the educational problems could be faced.

The participants participated in various activities aimed to promote teamwork and collaboration between members.
