In the framework of the Erasmus+ project “EIW2: Entrepreneurship is a woman” iED and the other project’s partners from Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, Bosnia Herzegovina, Ukraine, The Netherlands and United Kingdom while working together they observed that in the most cases StartUps with a successful performance lack of proper support as there’s not a well-organized network community for entrepreneurs, especially for women to support them.

The idea of such network was born during the “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” project which is the international exchange program that gives new or future entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from the experienced ones how to manage an SME.

For this reason, we advanced a platform for creating a community of networks that supports woman entrepreneurship. This community is addressed to everyone, from supporters, believers and social entrepreneurs to future changemakers in the field. All those people who are willing to contribute to the impact made by womenpreneurs and help women achieve their personal, career and social impact goals.

The core target of the idea is to promote women entrepreneurship and thus to increase the potentials of the startups by establishing the exchange of experience between new and experienced entrepreneurs, as well as facilitate access to new markets, finding potential business partners and business networking.

The specific goals of the project are:

• To connect like-minded people aiming to create a social impact through a sustainable business model.
• To encourage women entrepreneurs to overcome business development challenges.
• To create a community of social entrepreneurs.
• To provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills necessary to start and/or successfully run a small business.
• To create a better mutual knowledge between social, innovative and other entrepreneurs and facilitate the development of common projects/businesses.
• To promote exchanges and cooperation between European social innovators.
• To open new international business opportunities.
• To connect like-minded people aiming to create a social impact.

The platform which is available gives the opportunity to register as:

• Experienced entrepreneur or
• New Founder/Contributor
