On 17 and 18 January 2017 in the Town Council of Prague experts from many countries of Europe met in order to discuss the issue of school inclusion of Roma children.
It is not too Late Conference, organized by RomPraha, was carried out in the framework of PAL project (cofounded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme of European Union), a project that aims to address the issue of ant-Gypsyism and to improve the level of social inclusion of Roma people.
Consortium is made up by 19 full partners and 4 associate partners, coming from more than 10 European countries.
The 1st Day of the Conference, “Fighting discrimination in education” and other related topics were discussed by the members of the Consortium.
Within this framework, the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development presented the “Media process of fighting the stereotypes and prejudices about Roma”.
During the 2nd Day of the Conference each partner presented one best practice from each country.
Through this process, it came up that a lot of remarkable actions for the education of Roma have been implemented in every country.
