Gen-Z: Educating Future Entrepreneurs

It is an Erasmus+ project that aims to empower generation Z professionally, by introducing them to social media entrepreneurship. By the term of generation Z, we refer to people of certain age group; in particular, those born after 1995. The people of this particular age group can acknowledge the significance of social media in educational, academic, and professional aspects of life. It is a strategic partnership of 8 organizations, coming from: Great Britain; Portugal; Spain; Greece; Poland; Cyprus; and, Ireland.

For more information about Gen-Z, you can visit the project’s official webpage.

Gen-Z Intellectual Outputs 2 and 4

The project’s second intellectual output is about the development of a training curriculum on social media businesses. It is a training material tested and tailored to meet the needs of future youth social media entrepreneurs. The material is available in 5 languages: English, Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish. The curriculum content is based on the following chapters:

  • Practicing and becoming a proficient user of pertinent platforms.
  • Creation of a social media business plan.
  • Additional tools that will enhance the performance of social media activity, in terms of content.
  • Building the business’ social media influencer marketing and advertising strategy.
  • Monetizing and business management.

The outcome of the IO4, is the creation of a digital learning hub, that provides user-friendly access and is free of charge. The virtual platform operates as the database of Gen-Z outcomes. An additional service of the platform, is being the reference point of a community that promotes social media entrepreneurship, through sharing and exchanging ideas, on the subject.

Institute of Entrepreneurship Development is pleased with the Gen-Z intellectual outputs, both in terms of quality and prospects of the results. As social media have become an important promotion tool for business purposes; hence, the project results can function as an educational tool for future entrepreneurs.
