RYTA Transnational Meeting: Project Progress and Collaboration in Action

The 12th and 13th of September 2023 marked a significant milestone in the ongoing collaborative efforts as the RYTA transnational meeting took place with the participation of our international partners working on a project aimed at enhancing youth social inclusion: Rural Youth Training Activities (RYTA). The meeting, hosted by its coordinator iED at their premises in Larissa, Greece, saw key discussions, progress updates, and planning for the project’s future. It was a hybrid implemented meeting, with participants in physical presence from ARCES (Italy), TDM 2000 (Italy), PDA (Lebanon), and online attendees from NARC (Jordan) and UTAP (Tunisia).

The RYTA transnational meeting began with iED presenting an update on the project’s deliverables and work packages. Notably, the Preparation and Research of methodologies to outreach youngsters in rural areas (WP2) was completed, and a retrospective of it highlighted the completed deliverables. Policy Advocacy educational modules and online platform (WP3) are under development, and plans were made for Trainings and Mobility Activities (WP4), Quality Assurance and Evaluation (WP5), and Dissemination (WP6).

Partners identified topics for training materials centring on “Social Inclusion.” They plan to adapt these materials to local contexts based on national needs. WP4’s focus on gamification was outlined, with a bilateral meeting planned to connect training materials and toolkits.

In terms of WP1, special emphasis was given to the Interim Report, which is due by the end of December 2023. This report encompasses both financial and qualitative monitoring, emphasizing the quality of deliverables. Partners were advised to maintain documentation of project expenses for internal monitoring and potential audits. Budget allocation details were clarified, providing partners with a clear understanding of their budgets.

Next, the importance of project dissemination and KPI monitoring was discussed. Partners agreed to enhance project visibility through regular social media updates and the creation of a news template for easy sharing. Furthermore, evaluation and quality assurance were emphasized, with partners reminded to fill in ongoing reporting period surveys.

In conclusion, this transnational meeting served as a platform for meaningful discussions and strategic planning. As partners continue their collaborative journey to promote youth social inclusion, expect innovative solutions and impactful results in the near future. Stay tuned for further updates as the project progresses.
