iED, as a partner in Social and Creative project, is releasing an open invitation for artists. Through this open call, a local artist will be chosen to present his/her artwork in a pan-European level. The presentation will occur in the form of a short video interview; the video will be part of an artist video collection. The overall aim, of this initiative, is to give voice to the protagonists of the cultural and creative sector and social innovation, in the Mediterranean.
Social and Creative: Promoting Social Innovation – Cultural and Creative Industries
Social and Creative project is developed within the framework of the Interreg MED program. The design of its objective lies on fostering and supporting public and private representatives from the artistic and cultural world and social innovation. The aim is the creation of a transnational network, which will make an impact to the cultural and creative sector, by taking into account the social needs.

Open Invitation for Artists: The Procedure
We encourage artists practicing any artform, to apply; from traditional crafts to fine art.
The steps of the procedure are the following:

For a successful application, please follow both steps. Otherwise, we will consider your application incomplete.
Necessary Conditions Regarding the Interview Selection
There are no conditions regarding the artform you practice; however, there three (3) conditions:
- To be a professional artist;
- To be based on the region of Larissa;
- And, to be fluent in the English language, as the interview will be conducted in English.
