At the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED), we are proud to announce the finalization of the Intercultural Dialogue Guidebook we created with our partners in the TOGETHER project.
TOGETHER is an Erasmus+ project seeking to create the right conditions for a multicultural society. We live in a diverse world, and everyone should have intercultural communication skills and understanding.
That’s precisely what we have tried to build with our partners in this project. To improve communication between communities of various backgrounds and boost social cohesion.
Let’s learn more about this Guidebook and how it really puts together everything we have worked so hard for all this time with our partners.
What Is the Intercultural Dialogue Guidebook and What Does It Do?
This Guidebook is the final result of this partnership and binds everything we’ve done in the past together.
It is probably the most important one since it provides the essential context and assistance to actors in local communities on how to best use our products, tools and materials.
Particularly, it gives directions on incorporating our training packages into their activities according to their community’s potential and requirements.
This guidebook accompanies our Comparative Analysis Report, the Ambassadors Curriculum, and the TOGETHER e-Toolbox we have previously created. It is closely related to them, but it is a different product in terms of the end-users and its purpose.
Who Was the Development Leader?
As it happens in all collaborations, every partner’s contribution is significant. However, our partner FPD took the lead in developing this final output since they are experienced in developing training, educational programs, and guidelines for local communities.
After that, all partners using their extensive experience as training providers, provided feedback on the Intercultural Dialogue Guidebook. After that, each partner translated the guide into their language to reach a wider audience. This guide on intercultural dialogue is accessible through our e-learning platform in an interactive e-book format.
This handbook goes beyond a simple guidelines manual while focusing on empowering participants’ intercultural skills and competencies for dealing with cross-cultural understanding in local communities settings and beyond them.
